This brand new five-star hotel opened in September 2002. The building has undergone extensive reconstruction, preserving and restoring the original fragments of murals, fireplaces, etc.. It is situated on the hilly side above one of the Prague valleys and offers a remarkable view of Prague. The building was designed in the 19th century by a the well - known Czech painter Luděk Marold. The hotel offers 64 fully equipped rooms and 8 suites. Rooms are furnished in a modern unique style which highlights the original architecture. All rooms have air - conditioning, telephones, PC connections , SAT TV, DVD, safes and a minibar; coffee and tea are available in the rooms free of charge. The hotel also has a restaurant, fitness centre and an indoor swimming pool.
